Hi Greg

I hope you have had a great weekend.

Is everyone from your class on the ning?

No worries Greg.

What time do I need to be at St Albans?  I have emailed Lawry and would the group have headsets on Tuesday?

Hi Greg

I developed this template to offer suggestions for their oral presentations for Thursday and for their presentations at the end of the semester.  Stretching those that need to be stretched.  Please provide me with feedback and modify and then I will upload to the ning.

Hey Greg, I think I am off track with this ICT plan, would it be possible to do something on mathletics or maths online as the research area and how teachers send through questions for students to work on at home. Would this be classed as using web 2.0 technology? stef

Hi Greg,

No idea if I'm typing this message in the right place or not...

Could you please review my project questions below and let me know if I am on the right track?

My preference is to do something on Claymation, although that could be difficult to carry out seeing as I'm in a prep classroom...

Would it be better to choose a topic that is accessable to preps so I can more easily conduct interviews and experiments? At this point, they can barely spell their own names and are too young to be involved with blogging, wikis etc.

Questions:

How can interactive whiteboards be used to engage and motivate early years learners in mathematics?
How can interactive whiteboards be used to enhance the oral language of prep children?
How can the use of ipods in reading groups help achieve success and independence for Preps?
How can the use of ipods be used to improve numeracy reults in Number?
How can student response systems (Quizdom) help improve students' automatic recall of number facts in numeracy?

Thanks!

Thanks Greg. Is there a reason for the later start. Just asking as I was to do a class after recess. Won't get back to school in time! Stef

Hi Greg,

Glad I have got this module of the course sorted, Ican't say the same for Anne's Pbworks. Could you send through her mobile. I am having lots of trouble getting on.

Thanks Stef M
