Carl Stevens said… Thanks Tricia, I have sent Louise an email, and I'm looking forward to participating in discussions.
Rustle Freeman said… Thanks Tricia. I am very excited by what I see and plan to access the webinars whenever I can.
It is great that you would like to reach more pre-service teachers as I strongly believe that to improve learning outcomes for students, one of many things need to do is to better train our pre-service teachers by sharing with them innovative and authentic learning experiences (as part of their own learning and also their soon to be pedegogical practice). This is how I believe I was invited to attend: one of my lecturers at Victoria University, Tony Kruger, sent us a link to http://www.education.vic.gov.au/researchinnovation/resources/researchelert.htm. I subscribed to the elerts and believe that is why I received notification from Youla (michaels.youla.y@edumail.vic.gov.au) informing people of the free Charles Leadbeater seminar.
So happy to be part of this learning community. Many thanks!!

Fiona Trapani said… Thanks Tricia,
I have 'stumbled' across them this morning, and that's how I found this ning! I am very excited to see what is happening and the DECEED research is wonderful. I am very interested in emerging pedagogy and also personal Identity formation of learners and teachers. Thanks for letting me become a part of this group.

Kerry Cavanagh said… Hi Tricia, I am so grateful for your advice I was starting to stress a bit over the whole deal. I will now sit back and wait for the next step. Another comment really I suppose, I have only been a member for say 24 hours, but already I am receiving emails from overseas offering me wonderful deals for very cheap prices to train me!!! Is the normal?
Sincerely thanks again. Kerry
Kerry Cavanagh said… Hi Tricia, thanks for the warm welcome. Query please? I have tried to register the College for the Cybersecurity Awareness Week session for secondary students. Actually did this on the 31 May, however I have not received any information or confirmation that this request was successful. I also have no idea how to actually join this program on the 14th June. Would you have any helpful suggestions? I would be ever so grateful for the help. Kerry
Gwen Gilmore said… Will do - thanks very much. Cheers
