Hey Scott, I have uploaded the ultranet ppt proforma as a comment under your event publicity for the Ultranet Share 'n Tell. I also invited Wendy Macpherson (ultranet project management team) and Lynne Davies (eLearning Manager) along. Wendy is coming and Lynne hopes to. All the best. I can ask Britt Gow to help you with moderating if you like as she uses elluminate. I am at Comview tomorrow though and go to Melbourne later this afternoon.

Let's just say there is room for improvement! My laptop not working after the training day didn't help but I still have a lot to work out and remember! Will have another go this week! The kids were buzzed about it so that helped!

Hi Scott, good to hear from you. I can't believe that the file is too big since my Jing clips usually embed easily into our wikispace pages. That's a bummer. The other way I share the clips with students is to put them on the school server or to transfer them directly to their netbooks using USBs. Of course, I reckon having them on the wiki is the preferred method. If you're using wikispaces then you should be able to upload files upto 20mb. Most Jing swf files should only be about 4 or 5 mb at the most.

Hope this helps.

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the message. Much appreciated.
It would be a pleasure to have you guys down for a visit. The school gets visitors fairly regularly so it shouldn't be too hard for you to book a time in the future.
Gee it was difficult to squeeze everything in to the 20 minutes today and I was worried I was a little ambigious on some topics.

As mentioned, I am currently teaching in the 3/4 unit. I just needed a change after 4 years in 5/6. But we are on the verge of moving into our new building for the 3/4 unit, similar to you guys I guess. I'm excited about continuing to try some different ideas with these kids in the new space.

Cheers,
Rick

Hi Scott,
Yes the Friday training was great to meet with people and to learn more about our projects. Although, I must say I am still trying to shape mine a bit more! I think we may well be linking in with each other and helping out when we first get started.
Look forward to our next workshop.
