Hi Mark, in our school students are given $10 per term towards the cost of their internet access for class use. As they use up this $10, they go to the office to purchase a prepaid voucher and add further money to their account. The cost can be quit…
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) have released their latest report on internet use in Australia.

With your work in Innovation in Education Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.

I said that I think this Ning has a lot of potential for us to share, connect and form partnerships. I hope people embrace this space. People need to be active here for it to work. Good luck.
Hello Mark, I dont know if you remember a teacher called Susie Corbett from the USA who wanted to work with some schools in Australia as her students were studying Australia. She attended the online conference last year. My 9/10 elective students worked with her class on a joint wiki. The USA students would put up questions and my students would answer them. It worked really well.

Welcome to the ning. Take a look at some of the great thoughts being posted here - we'd love to hear yours too. check out Adelaide Simon's fascinating insights into innovation in France. I think we should meet up with her (in Paris of course) and find out more!
