Mystery Mathematics - can you tell us more? It is interesting looking at these photos in a 39 degree heat day at our school!!

Mystery mathematics is my way of saying - Doing maths without realising you are doing it. We were discussing 3D structures, domes and igloo construction. The students used research to investigate how an igloo was made and competed against each other to make an authentic structure. As I swelter today it is hard to imagine how cold yard duty was on those days in winter!
