Strategies for teaching languages for 21st Century

Definitely it is not a easy task for us to teach language now, especially we are facing a generation of students who using ICT daily in their live.

I agree Kerry - it is not easy. I think the main thing is to make it REAL for the students, through authentic experiences. Using a platform such as Ning and linking with a school in a country where the langauge is spoken can be very powerful for motivation in my opinion....Students then also have the opportunity to use technology (ie social network) that they use socially for their learning. Links with their life worlds are also made, as they link with people their own age in another country.
